Assassin's Creed and Ghost of Tsushima share a lot of similarities from the gorgeous open worlds, a choice of stealth or all-out action combat, RPG mechanics and much more.

However, what if we could blend the worlds of Assassin's Creed and Ghost of Tsushima, that would surely make for an amazing game, right? Well, that's what we'll be getting it seems with the upcoming Where Winds Meet, developed by Chinese studio, Everstone Games.

Check out the Where Winds Meet beta trailer below!

This year, we hope to see the release of Assassin's Creed Red along with the confirmed PC launch of Ghost of Tsushima which arrives next month on 16 May. Yet, if Where Winds Meet lives up to the potential seen in its latest gameplay trailer, it will surely blow its competition away.

"Embark on an unforgettable journey in Where Winds Meet, an open-world action-adventure RPG set in ancient China's tumultuous Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era," reads the description of the game. "Explore a land ravaged by war and territorial disputes, where political intrigue, power struggles, and epic battles shape the course of history."

"Amidst the chaos, discover a world brimming with cultural richness and prosperity, where heroes rise and legends are born. Will you embrace your destiny as a young martial artist, uncover the secrets of your identity, and forge your own path in an era of boundless possibilities?"

Recently a closed beta for Where Winds Meet has been taking place on PC, allowing lucky fans to demo this stunning open-world RPG for free. From what we've seen in the beta footage, everything about Where Winds Meets excites us for its full release, whenever that time may arrive.

At the moment, Where Winds Meet is only announced to be released on PC but hopefully we'll get a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S announcement soon. Where Winds Meet is expected to be released this year, assuming it suffers no delays.
