There are rumors that Assassin's Creed Red will release sometime in 2024, after all, and that means news about it has to come relatively soon. Luckily, fans can reasonably mark June 12 as a big news day for the franchise. It's not confirmed yet, but the safest bet is an Assassin's Creed-focused Ubisoft Forward taking place on that date.
Recently, Geoff Keighley confirmed his Summer Game Fest event for June 7, meaning fans can reasonably expect the first two weeks or so of the month to be covered in gaming news. It remains to be seen what a lot of companies will do, but the past few years have seen Ubisoft host its own event called Ubisoft Forward. Assassin's Creed news has come from several of these, and that pattern isn't likely to change this year.

It's still set to release within the next year or two, in step with the more known-about AC games.
