The first main region of Stellar Blade players will be exploring is Eidos 7, an old city long abandoned and left to the Naytiba. While making her way through the city, Eve will come across a High-Security Sealed Chest, with Adam mentioning the Drone would need a hacking tool to be able to get it open.

While players may want to hunt around to find this upgrade for the Drone, it won't be available until a bit further into the game, with players needing to come back for this chest in particular. Luckily, High-Security Sealed Chests are all throughout the game, and the hacking tool is a very useful upgrade to make sure players are getting more and better loot. This guide includes everything you need to know to unlock the Drone Hacking Tool in Stellar Blade and open High-Security Sealed Chests.

How To Get The Drone Hacking Tool in Stellar Blade

The Drone Upgrade Tree

To get the Drone Hacking Tool, players will first need to progress through the main story to Xion. This requires players to find the Alpha Naytiba Gigas in Eidos 7, defeat it, and recruit Lily to the team. After arriving in Xion, Eve, Adam, and Lily will meet with the Orcal, power up the city, and return to the stronghold at Eve's leisure. Returning will have Lily introduce the upgraded Drone which now also functions as a gun for Eve.

Players can now upgrade the Drone either with Lily or any Repair Console in a camp. Going to the Drone menu will let players buy various gun upgrades, with the far left path being focused on the Drone's utility, the first of which being the Hacking Tool upgrade for only one Drone Upgrade Module. Drone Upgrade Modules are fairly rare items found on powerful enemies or in chests, but at this point in the game, players should at least have one.

How To Open High-Security Chests in Stellar Blade

Eve Looking A High-Security Sealed Chest

High-Security Sealed Chests look very similar to regular chests, except for the yellow hologram police tape around them. As these chests require a Drone upgrade, their loot will always be more valuable and of greater quantity than any other chests in the region. To open them, simply approach them and wait for the drone to scan the chest and unlock it. After that, Eve can open it as usual and loot the contents. There is only one level for this upgrade, and it works on all High-Security Sealed Chests in the game, making this the best upgrade players can get right away to get the most out of it.
