Hades 2 is the hotly anticipated follow-up to the breakout success that was Supergiant Games's foray into the roguelite genre. Promising a new protagonist and an expanded roster of gods and goddesses to meet, fans of the original are champing at the bit to get in on some of the action.

A Playtest allows potential players to get a taste of the game while also providing crucial feedback about its stability, glitchiness, and general feeling. Whether it's curiosity or downright loyalty that makes you want to be a part of this process, you'll be glad to hear that applying is as easy as anything.

How To Sign Up For The Technical Test

Applying for access to the technical test is as easy as heading to the Hades 2 Steam page, scrolling down past the gallery of images, and clicking the 'Request Access' button. Confirm the request and you'll be notified that your request is successful.

This is not a guaranteed thing - there are limited 'places' in this technical test and there's a chance your Steam account will not be chosen.

If you are a content creator , you can also sign up for a code using Keymailer . Likewise, there are no guarantees here: in Supergiant's own words : "...please note that due to the nature of the Technical Test, we may not be able to honor all such requests."
If your request is successful, you will be notified via email and subsequently be allowed to download the technical test build of the game.
