Trials of Mana is set to mark its 30th birthday next year in Japan with an exciting stage adaptation. As the third game in the Mana series, following the beloved SNES hit Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana has a rich history. It first came out in Japan in 1995 as Seiken Densetsu 3 but didn't reach Western players until 2019 when it was part of the Collection of Mana for Nintendo Switch. In 2020, a remake hit various platforms including Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, mobile devices, and Xbox Series X|S. This new version swapped the original's pixel art for 3D graphics and removed multiplayer.

The game's plot centers on a group of heroes on a quest for the fabled Sword of Mana. Their goal? To protect the Mana Tree and stop the Benevodons, a group of monsters, from destroying the world.
