The Xbox Series X 2TB "Galaxy Black" Special Edition and the all-digital Xbox Series X 1TB models feature some notable upgrades compared to the original Xbox Series X:

The 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition has a unique space-inspired design with a celestial pattern and Velocity Green accents. It includes a 2TB SSD for double the storage of the standard model, and retails for $599.99. This version maintains the disc drive of the original Series X.

The all-digital 1TB Xbox Series X, priced at $449.99, removes the disc drive but keeps the same 1TB SSD storage. Both the 2TB and digital-only models use a 6nm SoC, which is a die-shrink of the original chip. This allows for slightly lower power consumption and heat output, enabling a change from the vapor chamber cooling solution to a traditional heatsink.

In terms of performance, the web search indicates the new models can reach the same clock speeds as the launch Xbox Series X, with only minor differences in power draw during gaming. The 2TB Galaxy Black and 1TB digital versions provide more storage and a fresh design aesthetic for those who don't need or want a disc drive.

Overall, these new Xbox Series X variants offer consumers more choice in terms of storage capacity and physical design, while maintaining the core performance of the original console. The technical upgrades like the 6nm SoC also provide some incremental improvements in efficiency and thermals.
