Trailer Silent Hill 2 Remake gets a new story trailer

Today a brand new trailer for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake was released through Konami's and Silent Hill's official social media accounts.

This new trailer resembles the introduction cutscene from the original Silent Hill 2, with Maria talking to James after being separated in the hallway about the hotel by the lake. Afterwards, the cutscene jumps to different points in the game, with this trailer being the first official look at the Remake's rendition of Eddie, alongside his iconic line "Just put a gun to their head...".

Investigating a letter from his late wife, James returns to where they made so many memories - Silent Hill. What he finds is a ghost town, prowled by disturbing monsters and cloaked in deep fog. Confront the monsters, solve puzzles, and search for traces of your wife.

Please enjoy this latest trailer introducing the other characters James will meet in Silent Hill.

The trailer also shows other iconic parts from the game, like the scene with Eddie in the toilet, Angela's knife and fiery staircase, and many others (although Angela's face can't be seen clearly in this trailer), before closing up with James taking a videotape and putting it into the VHS player at the hotel room where Mary and James used to go together.

Silent Hill 2 Remake by Bloober Team is coming to PlayStation 5 and Steam on October 8th, 2024, with pre-orders being available now.
