When discussing the remaster, Suda51 mentions the PS5, PS4 version runs at a 4K resolution in 60 frames-per-second, a New Game+ mode, and the four previously revealed bonus costumes. Nothing has been cut; it's the exact same content as the original game with more modes and extras. "Gameplay is exactly the same as in the original, so it should feel exactly the same, but prettier," he said.
As for what game Suda51 would want to remaster next, he points to the PS2 and Nintendo DS title Flower, Sun, and Rain. "It's an old Grasshopper title, and fans have been asking for it for a long time. We really want to do a remaster this one and put it on Steam, etc., to make sure that it properly survives as part of the Grasshopper Manufacture catalogue."
