A few years ago, Journey to the Savage Planet released on PS4, a sci-fi survival shooter with a tongue-in-cheek tone. Now, developer Raccoon Logic (previously Typhoon Studios) returns with the sequel, Revenge of the Savage Planet. Check out the announcement trailer above.
Playable solo or in two-player co-op (on or offline), Revenge of the Savage Planet moves the action from first person to third person, and is already looking like an all-round improvement on the first game (just look at that run cycle!). Playing as cosmonauts who've been fired from the space program, the game's main mission is figuring out a way back to your home planet using the alien resources at your disposal.
Further details are thin on the ground right now, but it's targeting a launch sometime in 2025 for PC and consoles, including PS5. Are you interested in Revenge of the Savage Planet? No friendly fire in the comments section below.
