News PS5 Pro Showcase Set for Tomorrow, Hosted by Mark Cerny

Sony has announced a "PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation" will take place tomorrow, 10th September 2024, hosted by Mark Cerny. While the firm doesn't directly mention what the showcase is about, all signs indicate this will be a PS5 Pro unveiling. It'll be nine minutes long and will "focus on PS5 and innovations in gaming technology".

The presentation will take place on 10th September 2024 at the following times:

• North America: 8am PDT / 9am MDT / 10am CDT / 11am EDT
• UK/Ire: 4pm BST
• Europe: 5pm CEST / 6pm EEST
• Asia/Oceania: 12am (Wed) JST / 11pm AWST / 1am (Wed) AEST
• Your Local Time: 8am, Tue 10th Sep 2024 Mountain Standard Time

Rumors of a PS5 Pro have been rife for most of 2024, with speculation suggesting it'll release this year. A more powerful GPU is one of the biggest upgrades the new model is said to have, alongside more system memory and a "high CPU frequency mode". The design of the PS5 Pro recently leaked, with its outer casing having four stripes through the middle.
