According to Martin Griffiths, the Engine Programmer at No Man's Sky developer Hello Games, the PS5 Pro "absolutely rocks". In a post on X (or Twitter), he explained that he's "been through all PlayStation iterations" and appears to have a very favourable impression of this one. And yes, No Man's Sky is on the list of All PS5 Pro Enhanced Games.
We don't yet know how No Man's Sky will take advantage of the PS5 Pro, although we know Hello Games has been working with it for a little while as dataminers found some code pertaining to the supercharged system in an old update. We'd expect higher quality graphics settings at 60fps, which is the goal of Sony's mid-gen refresh – although there may be a few surprises, too.
We should point out that the picture attached to the tweet is a screenshot from the existing version of the game, and not the PS5 Pro – despite what it may seem.
It's worth noting No Man's Sky also supports PSVR2, so it's possible the virtual reality mode will be enhanced with PS5 Pro as well. Hello Games' enormous sci-fi escapade has gone from strength to strength since it launched, so we're excited at the prospect of further improvements on the PS5 Pro.
