The Analogue 3D is Analogue's latest FPGA-based retro console, this time reimagining the Nintendo 64. It is set to launch in Q1 2025 and pre-orders will open on October 21, 2024 for $249.99.
The Analogue 3D features the most powerful FPGA Analogue has used in one of their products, the Altera Cyclone 10GX with 220k logic elements. This allows it to achieve 100% compatibility with the entire N64 game library, with no emulation and no issues like input lag or frame rate problems.
The console has four original N64 controller ports, as well as support for wireless Bluetooth controllers like the new 8BitDo 64 controller. It outputs at 4K resolution and includes custom CRT filters to provide an authentic retro gaming experience.
Analogue is positioning the Analogue 3D as the "greatest multiplayer system of all time" due to its full compatibility with the N64's extensive multiplayer game library. Pre-orders for the black and white models will open next week, with the device expected to ship in the first quarter of 2025.
