Metal Slug Tactics is set to launch digitally on November 5, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. A physical edition is also planned, with more details to be announced later.
The new trailer revealed three additional playable characters joining the roster:
- Clark Still: A tank-like ally from the Ikari Warriors series, known for his immense strength and wrestling abilities. He can relocate enemies on the map and deal wide-reaching, status-inflicting damage.
- Ralf Jones: Also returning from Ikari Warriors, Ralf is a master of short-range combat, packing devastating punches and the ability to charge at enemies head-on.
- Leona Heidern: A newer addition to the Ikari Warriors cast, Leona is a revered fighter capable of replacing fallen allies with decoy units to distract and overwhelm the enemy.
The game promises a fresh tactical RPG experience set in the beloved Metal Slug universe, with roguelike elements, hand-crafted maps, a variety of weapons and mods, and an original soundtrack composed by Tee Lopes.
