The horror game Phasmophobia is finally getting a PS5 release on October 29, 2024, just in time for Halloween. After multiple delays, the PS5 version will launch in Early Access and support PSVR2 as well as cross-play with other platforms.
Phasmophobia is a 4-player cooperative psychological horror game where players take on the role of paranormal investigators exploring haunted locations. The game has been a huge hit on PC, selling over 20 million copies in Early Access since its launch in 2020.
The PS5 version will feature the same immersive gameplay, unique ghost types, and variety of ghost-hunting equipment as the PC version. Players will be able to dive in head-first to search for evidence, or play it safe by supporting the team from the truck. With over 10 locations, multiple difficulty settings, and daily/weekly challenges, there are plenty of ways for players to test their ghost-hunting skills.
