News Hoonigans Is A Mix Of Project Gotham Racing And Micro Machines For Your Game Boy Color

Shane McCafferty has released his Game Boy Color-based Project Gotham Racing tribute, which is now known as Hoonigans.

"Hoonigans is a top-down racing game which pays homage to the classic retro racers of yesteryear," says the developer. "The aim of the game is simple: prove your worth as you tackle the game's diverse array of tracks and challenges, and earn medals to unlock a host of characters, tracks, vehicles, and more!"

The game contains twelve tracks, three playable characters, and a "huge array" of vehicles. "The gameplay in Hoonigans is incredibly straightforward: guide your vehicle around each track, cutting corners and avoiding potential hazards as you speed toward the finish line. The aim is to win the gold medal on each stage, allowing you to unlock additional tracks, characters, and vehicles as you progress."
