GT7's Weekly Challenges comprise five events, usually from World Circuits events which already exist but with unique, one-week-only events now occupying a regular spot too. Completing the five during the week's window can earn you some pretty tasty rewards, as well as bonuses for finishing one and three events.
For this week we have a third Special Event for the Lamborghini Gallardo, as added in the last content update back in July. You can race it in any state of tune, though as it's a four lap run of the high speed Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise course we'd recommend some power and long gearing if you want the 90,000cr for victory here.
The other four races range in value, as usual, from the low to the high, beginning with an American Clubman Cup 700 at the Daytona Road Course. You'll want something at or around 700PP for this race, as indicated by the name, but it's not a hard limit so you can use anything that fits the regulations: a road or tuned car from a US brand. There's 30,000cr in it for winning the four-lap race.
It's only a tiny step up in prize money for the European Sunday Cup 500 at the now regular haunt of Eiger Nordwand, with 35,000cr for victory. You'll need a road car from a European marque for this three-lap affair, but again the "500" of the name is just a recommended Performance Point value for a competitive race.
Prize money bumps up a bit when you head to the Schwarzwald League race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. It's a seven-lap run for any car from Germany within an 800PP cap, and watch out for the Porsche 911 GT3RS which goes on a monster late-race charge. Fend it off for an 88,000cr winner's pot.
Finally you're heading to Watkins Glen for ten laps in the World Touring Car 800. Again, 800PP is the absolute limit here, but you're also required to use Racing Tires of any grade. Just about any Gr.3 car will be plenty for this race, and there's 200,000cr for taking the win.
This week's rewards see the return of specific Six-Star Roulette tickets. You'll earn a Parts ticket — which contains Special parts you can only win or buy in the Ultimate section of the Tuning Shop — for completing one event, and a redeemable 150,000cr ticket for finishing three. Complete all five and you'll score the Car ticket, which guarantees you a vehicle worth between 500,000cr and almost 4m credits and can include those hard-to-get Invitation cars too.
You'll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we'd expect the next set on the morning of Friday October 4.
