After last week's quintet of events which exclusively used American circuits, this week's set is confined to European venues — and you'll find that the majority also require a European car.
That begins with the new Special Event, which once again places us into the classic Renault 4 for an off-road race. You may even have the required Dirt Tires still fitted from the previous event, but it's actually a mixed-surface run this week over three laps of the Rallycross course at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Other than the tires you can tune your Renault how you wish, for a 30,000cr winner's pot.
All four of this week's other events have a set Performance Point (PP) cap, beginning with the Historic Sports Car Masters at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. You can pick any road car with a model year from 1960 to 1989, tuned in any manner so long as it doesn't exceed 580PP. It's a three-lap race, with 55,000cr for taking victory.
As well as hosting this week's new Time Trial challenge, the Nurburgring Nordschleife is a race venue in the Weeklies too. It's a one-lap race in the Schwarzwald League event, which requires a German car — of any kind — in any state of tune under a 700PP cap. There's 64,000cr if you're first across the line, and as a word of warning you will need something with serious legs down the Dottinger Hohe…
Ferrari is the focus for the next race, a five-lap run around the full Autodrome Lago Maggiore circuit. Any Prancing Horse will do, but again so long as it fits under the 700PP limit when you're done fettling it. Taking victory is worth 105,000cr.
The finale this week is a race most players will already know well, in the World Touring Car 800 series at Sardegna Road Track A. It's a 15-lap blast good for 485,000cr, making it one of the preferred choices for quick cash in the game. You can use any car within an 800PP limit, but Racing Tires are required.
This week's rewards are a little different, but well worth going for. A Six-Star Parts Ticket for clearing one event might not be too exciting, but there's a 200,000cr ticket for finishing three. Get through all five and there's a Six-Star Car Ticket, which guarantees a car worth between 500,000cr and 3.6 million — and can include special Invitation vehicles.
You'll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we'd expect the next set on the morning of Friday May 31.
