Cinema Fanfilm "The Keeper's Diary: A Biohazard Story" premieres on June 30th, 2024

The fan-made short film that focuses on the events that pre-date the Mansion Incident that lead up to the first Resident Evil game is now close to release. The fan film is basically a recreation of the events described in the "Keeper's Diary" file that the player can find in one of the rooms inside the mansion, which depicts what happened with the researchers, the laboratory and their experiments before all hell broke lose in the Spencer Mansion.

After showcasing the very first trailer of the fanfilm back in March of this year, the producers where contacted by Capcom themselves, which gave them the green light to proceed with the project as a fan product. Now, after a couple more months since the original trailer for the project, the producers and people behind the Residence of Evil Network have announced today through their social media accounts that the film will be releasing this very month.

The film itself will release on the Residence of Evil Network on June 30th, 2024. It's possible that the short film may debut on their YouTube channel as well, but it remains to be seen if it will be an exclusive to the website, or if the producers will also post the short film on YouTube or not.
