Anyway, the action RPG arrives on the spookiest day of the year: the 31st October. It's time to put that Halloween party on hold!
Previous rumors also had the game down for October. In particular, there was a leak regarding the title's official art book, which was dated for the 30th October. The assumption was that the game itself would launch alongside said book — or at least within a few days of it — and that's exactly what's happened.
Fortunately, releasing on the 31st October does give The Veilguard some room to breathe. It's a few weeks away from fellow RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio, and it drops a couple of weeks before the heavy hitter that is Assassin's Creed Shadows. It's still a fairly busy period, with the likes of Ys X: Nordics, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Life Is Strange: Double Exposure all set for late October, but we feel as though there isn't too much crossover there.
