The Dragon Age PS5 Remaster Collection is indeed unlikely, but as the saying goes, "never say never." According to recent statements from BioWare's creative director, remastering all Dragon Age games isn't as straightforward as it was with the Mass Effect series. The main challenge lies in the different engines used across the Dragon Age titles:

1. Dragon Age: Origins used the Eclipse engine
2. Dragon Age 2 used the Frostbite engine
3. The Mass Effect trilogy, in contrast, was entirely built on Unreal Engine

While the creative director expressed interest in the classic games, the technical complexities make a collection improbable in the near future. BioWare's current focus is on supporting their latest release, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and then shifting entirely to the development of the upcoming Mass Effect game.

It's worth noting that Dragon Age: The Veilguard, released on October 31, 2024, has been receiving positive reviews from critics and players alike. The game currently holds an average score of 82 on OpenCritic, with praise for its action-paced combat and cast.

If you're eager to dive into the Dragon Age series, it might be best to play the existing versions rather than waiting for a potential remaster that may not materialize soon. Each game offers a unique experience, and playing them in their original form allows you to appreciate the series' evolution over time.
