ROM Hack Castlevania II: Subotai's Hunt Re-Released

Originally released in Japan as Dorakyura II: Noroi no Fūin," which translates to "Dracula II: Curse's Seal," Castlevania II: Simon's Quest boldly introduces adventure and RPG elements to the tried-and-true action platforming established in Castlevania.

Play as Simon, the vampire hunter, as you gather body parts of Dracula to find and defeat him. Discover different endings in your quest to lift your curse.

This hack aims to provide players with a brand-new experience that is challenging but fun. This re-release marks the tenth anniversary of this hack. In celebration, the required red crystal is now a starting item without a password needing to be entered. Dracula's Ring has also been upgraded in celebration, so that using sub-weapons will no longer deplete your hearts. This hack is further described as follows.

• All game areas have been redesigned.
• Each mansion has its own puzzle to be solved.
• Achievement and leaderboard support has been added.
• Video walkthroughs are also available for those who prefer a guide.
