ROM Hack Blaster Master: The Lost Key Re-Released

Originally released in Japan as "Chō Wakusei Senki Metafight," which translates to "Super Planetary War Chronicle: Metafight," Blaster Master offers a remarkable metroidvania experience that features both 2D platforming and overhead run-and-gun action.
Play as Jason as you investigate the mystery behind your newly mutated pet frog. Along the way, discover upgrades for your newfound tank and find out why the final upgrade may be one of the most perilous upgrades in the NES library.
This hack aims to provide players with a brand-new experience that is challenging without being unfair. This re-release marks the tenth anniversary of this hack. In celebration, unlimited continues and an extra life per continue have been added. Achievement and leaderboard support has also been added in celebration. The hack is further described as follows.

• All stages and all interior zones have been redesigned.
• Any of three different routes are available for beating the game.
• The shorter the route, the fewer the items, and hence the higher the difficulty.
• Video walkthroughs are also available for those who prefer a guide.
