News Beloved, Sekiro-Inspired Action Platformer Nine Sols Rated for PS5, PS4 Release

Nine Sols is an especially stylish (and shockingly mature) action platformer that's been around on PC for a while. Its demo caused quite a stir a couple of years back because of how well made and engaging it was, and the full game released to gushing praise on Steam this May. It currently sits at an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' user rating.

Anyway, it looks like Nine Sols is heading to PS5 and PS4. As spotted by Gematsu, the title's been rated for consoles in Taiwan, which is usually a solid indication that an announcement is in the works. Hopefully we get some confirmation soon, because as alluded, we've heard nothing but good things about this one.

Gameplay-wise, Nine Sols is a side-scrolling, fairly demanding mix of fast-paced platforming and slick, parry-based combat. Said combat, by the way, is heavily inspired by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, according to Taiwanese developer Red Candle Games.
