The Alan Wake 2 PS5 Pro enhanced version will offer two graphics modes:
Quality Mode:
- 30 frames per second with ray tracing enabled
- 4K output resolution (2176x1224 render resolution)
- Ray traced reflections on opaque and transparent surfaces
Performance Mode:
- 60 frames per second
- 4K output resolution (1536x864 render resolution)
- Uses similar image quality settings as the base PS5 Quality mode, but with improved overall image stability, fog, volumetric lighting, and shadow accuracy.
The PS5 Pro's enhanced hardware and new upscaling technology called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) allow Remedy to deliver these visual improvements over the base PS5 version of Alan Wake 2.
