Developer Torn Banner Studios has announced that after three years of free updates for Chivalry 2, they now consider it feature-complete and will move on to other exciting multiplayer projects. The game will continue to be maintained, and matchmaking services will remain online.

It's been quite a good run for Torn Banner Studios. Chivalry 2 really is one of the most visceral and unique multiplayer games players can dive into on PlayStation, and there has never been a better time. In May, the developer released its Regicide update, which added (amongst other things like weapons, maps, and game modes) a climactic end to the narrative of the warring in-game factions.

Torn Banner is working on other projects set in the Chivalry universe, as well as dabbling in the realm of cooperative horror, with No More Room in Hell 2 now in Early Access on Steam.

Did you pick up Chivalry 2? Are you a fan of Torn Banner's particularly brutal style of first-person melee combat? Swing a military pick in the comments section below.
