Today, developer Max Inferno and publisher Secret Mode launched the second DLC for indie puzzle game A Little to the Left. To access this DLC, you will need the base game but it can be played without having completed the base game itself as it includes a series of new, self-contained puzzles.

Key features of the Seeing Stars DLC include:

• 33 new levels: a mixture of "multiple solution" themed puzzles and traditional organizational levels.
• 5 additional bonus levels.
• 100 solutions to discover.
• Levels with up to 5 different solutions!
• Interactive items that you can fold, flap, crush, join, stick, bounce, stack, strum and smash.
• Lots of variety.
• New OST.
• Hints for all solutions.
• Layered levels with both easy and challenging solutions.
• Multiple cats!

Having played the Seeing Stars DLC, I can say that it will satisfy fans of the base game with even more of what made the latter unique: minimalist visuals, original puzzles with a range of difficulty levels and some having more than one solution. Seeing Stars' 38 new puzzles range from arranging food based on bite marks to manipulating ice cubes in drinks in a Tetris-like fashion.

They are all original and inventive puzzles, like those in the base game. Some have 5 solutions, with each awarding you with one star when completed (there are 100 stars to collect in this DLC). Among these, the real challenge relies on figuring out the other, less straightforward solutions. But as with the base game, and other puzzle games for that matter, some puzzles are not obvious to solve; but completing them do feel satisfying. Luckily, there's an improved hint system for each solution which can help you if you're in a bind.

A Little to the Left: Seeing Stars is one for puzzle lovers and completionists. If you liked the base game or are fond of challenging puzzles, this DLC will surely entice you. It is out now for $9 on PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5.
