This concert is a significant event for fans of the Lufia series, as it marks three decades since the release of Lufia II, which first launched in Japan in February 1995. The game, developed by Neverland and published by Taito in Japan, later reached North America in 1996 and Europe in 1997.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals is a prequel to the original Lufia, following the story of Maxim, a monster hunter who becomes involved in a quest to stop the antagonistic group known as the Sinistrals. The game is remembered fondly for its engaging storyline, puzzle-filled dungeons, and memorable soundtrack.
