A blurred version of the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 key art has leaked via @billbil_kun on X/Twitter, just hours after the reveal of the teaser. As fans quickly noted, even blurred, it's a clear throwback to the classic Black Ops 1 box art. Activision's Call of Duty marketing machine has...
We now have our first look at the logo for the forthcoming live-action Street Fighter movie from Legendary Pictures – and seasoned fans will instantly notice that it's the same logo that was previously used for some of the video games in Capcom's long-running fighting franchise. Legendary...
It is over 30 degrees where I live (it feels like 37 at this moment, to be precise) so living in a world stuck in an eternal deep freeze sounds downright lovely right now – but the gameplay teaser trailer for Permafrost has reminded me that a frozen world might not be so great either. Only those...

We've seen a flood of emulator options arrive on the iOS App Store recently, and the latest entry is SameBoy, a Game Boy emulator which covers the original 1989 handheld, the Game Boy Color and the Super Game Boy. Described by developer Lior Halphon as possessing the "world's most accurate Game...
We've seen quite a few indie games lean hard into the Game Boy aesthetic, but few have looked as downright gorgeous as Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago. The recently-launched Steam game is developed by 14 Hours Productions and is described as "part digital pet game, part RPG adventure, and part...

It’s a well-optimized port, and it plays as well as it did a decade ago.

The wait is over as the remake of the cult-classic sci-fi title System Shock nears its release. Does it offer a compelling reason to (re)visit Citadel Station and thwart SHODAN’s plans?

Why? You have asked for it, so here it is... USB Partition The Wii U only allows you to format whole USB storage devices to use them for expanding the storage to store Wii U games. This stroopwafel plugin changes this. It lets you use a partition on your USB storage device for storing Wii U...

Why? Even though the Wii U has a built in SD slot, it doesn't support using it as a storage expansion to store Wii U games (unlike it's predecessor). USB pen drives are notoriously unreliable and hard drives are bulky and require extra power or a Y cable, using up multiple ports. Today big...

Credits go to JustMLC for creating this mod! Before starting the tutorial, it's important to know that you need a jailbroken Wii U (it may also work on emulator, but I haven't tested) with either Aroma or Tiramisu. If you want to also/only get the OG switch GamePad/TV button and/or OG system...

Fanmade games are always a delight to see, be it original or altogether recreated games made from scratch, and this case, a beloved arcade and SNES classic got such treatment. The original "Final Fight" is a "beat 'em up" game originally released for the arcades back in 1989 with the option to play with two players, and then later ported over to other consoles, such as the SNES, Sega CD and the GBA, with all three versions ranging from slight censored content like GBA port, to severe cut content like the SNES port, which had the playable character Guy, the Industrial area and the two player co-op gameplay removed, and to top it off, censored content as well. A development team going by the name "CFX", which consists of Edmo Caldas, Master Linkuei, Mauro Xavier and Oscar Celestini, have worked to put together an entirely new recreation of the original arcade game made from scratch, without any kind of pre-existing or reverse-engineered code, and managed to get the game working on the original SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive hardware, complete with all its 3 characters, 3 rounds/stages out of the 6 so far, and a survivor and attack modes implemented into the game. Those interested in trying out the WIP build of the homebrew port can find it on Itch.
After almost a year and a half in development and many beta versions, Aria of Sorrow Reprise v1.0 is now released! Reprise is a roguelike mod for Aria of Sorrow with a procedurally generated castle along with custom rooms, extensive new features, effects and re-balancing. Explore randomized areas, clear rooms, and then fight the boss to advance the game. Experiment with new equipment and soul abilities, with changes documented in-game with the '~' character. There are many more details in the readme, but it is easy to jump in and play! This mod is targeted to both beginners and experienced players with 4 difficulties, and does not require any previous map knowledge due to it's progression system and map generation. It's also very replayable, just use a different filename to generate a different castle. This has been a rewarding project that a lot of effort was put into - huge thanks to everyone who has played it and provided feedback to get to this point. Enjoy this latest release! Download Page
