A new update for Minecraft has dropped today for all platforms, and my God it's so important. To say Minecraft is still one of the most popular games of all time, existing for 15 years now, it's surprising how little it gets updated with new content. That being said, when it does receive an...

The original Myst is an iconic narrative adventure exploration puzzle game released in 1993. Riven: The Sequel to Myst launched four years later. A remake of Myst came to us in 2020, so it only makes sense that a remake of Riven is delivered (again) four years later. Riven has been shown off in...

In so many ways Stellar Blade comes across as reactionary. It’s a rejection of the way that modern games aim to be accessible with crystal clear wayfinding, easy-to-solve puzzles and an easy mode that plays itself.

Knuckles is an absolute riot. Wade Whipple’s over-the-top antics give the stoic echidna a much-needed foil, and the result is a laugh-a-minute road movie that just happens to be a six-part miniseries.

So let's say that you've region changed your 3DS (example: JPN to USA) and you try to go in the eShop and/or Pokemon Bank on the USA version but then you get an error code that says 007-2001. This is because your serial number in Nintendo's servers are still in the other region (JPN). In order...

Fanmade games are always a delight to see, be it original or altogether recreated games made from scratch, and this case, a beloved arcade and SNES classic got such treatment. The original "Final Fight" is a "beat 'em up" game originally released for the arcades back in 1989 with the option to play with two players, and then later ported over to other consoles, such as the SNES, Sega CD and the GBA, with all three versions ranging from slight censored content like GBA port, to severe cut content like the SNES port, which had the playable character Guy, the Industrial area and the two player co-op gameplay removed, and to top it off, censored content as well. A development team going by the name "CFX", which consists of Edmo Caldas, Master Linkuei, Mauro Xavier and Oscar Celestini, have worked to put together an entirely new recreation of the original arcade game made from scratch, without any kind of pre-existing or reverse-engineered code, and managed to get the game working on the original SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive hardware, complete with all its 3 characters, 3 rounds/stages out of the 6 so far, and a survivor and attack modes implemented into the game. Those interested in trying out the WIP build of the homebrew port can find it on Itch.
After almost a year and a half in development and many beta versions, Aria of Sorrow Reprise v1.0 is now released! Reprise is a roguelike mod for Aria of Sorrow with a procedurally generated castle along with custom rooms, extensive new features, effects and re-balancing. Explore randomized areas, clear rooms, and then fight the boss to advance the game. Experiment with new equipment and soul abilities, with changes documented in-game with the '~' character. There are many more details in the readme, but it is easy to jump in and play! This mod is targeted to both beginners and experienced players with 4 difficulties, and does not require any previous map knowledge due to it's progression system and map generation. It's also very replayable, just use a different filename to generate a different castle. This has been a rewarding project that a lot of effort was put into - huge thanks to everyone who has played it and provided feedback to get to this point. Enjoy this latest release! Download Page
