A song pack with 3DPV recreations of songs featured in Megpoid the Music#!
Introduction
Project Megpoid originally began as a project that planned to be a collaboration between several charters to chart the full versions of songs featured in the PlayStation Portable game Megpoid the Music# and to implement them into Project DIVA Mega Mix+ as 2DPV chart mods. However, the release of various DIVA related tools by FlyingSpirits and ThisIsHH inspired us to go further.
In May 2023, an interest survey was released to gauge interest into seeing who would be interested in attempting to recreate the 3DPV's in Megpoid the Music# to fit Project DIVA Mega Mix+'s art style. Depending on the response to the survey, the project was only going to be a pack of 2DPV charts with some potential modules thrown into the mix.
Needless to say, the feedback, support, and interest of the community was overwhelming, and Project Megpoid was created!
In short, Project Megpoid hopes to be the project that makes GUMI feel like an official addition to the Project DIVA series. We have so much planned and we can't wait to share it with the community, and we thank everyone for their kind words and support.
Mod Contents
The Megpoid the Music# Song Pack contains various fully reanimated 3D PV's from the 2013 PlayStation®Portable game Megpoid the Music# by Paraphray. The motions were manually retargeted to DIVA armature by our team, and all other assets were completely remade from scratch.Please note that the DIVA Blender Tools provided by ThisIsHH and FlyingSpirits are currently a work-in-progress and are private due to the issues that still need to be worked on and tested. As the tools improve, we guarantee that we will go back and revisit our older ports and improve the quality for them the best that we can!
