Forces the game to always use 4k movie files
If you play at any resolution below 4k, the game will give you pre-rendered movies at a whopping 720p resolution at 30fps.
Needless to say, this looks absolutely awful, especially on something like 1440p which is essentially x4 the pixel count of 720p.
This mod corrects that by forcing the game to always play the 4k resolution movie files (that also happen to be 60fps). This mod works by manually modifying every event file that would call a movie, and then modifying the movie path to redirect to the 4k one as well as correctly replacing the media info so that the movie gets correctly scaled down by the game.
Please note that due to being 4k60 movies, if your GPU is old enough, you might experience stuttering!
This mod was mostly tested at 1440p resolution, but should also work just as fine on 1080p. If you encounter any weird issues such as a movie not playing correctly (on either 1080p or 1440p), please leave a comment to let me know.
This is a Reloaded-II mod and needs SMTVV Essentials to work!
EDIT: I have implemented this mod directly into SMTVV Essentials, however this mod will be kept here for legacy purposes!
