The year is 2036, one year after Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow's events. Soma Cruz becomes embroiled in a strange cult's plot to revive their wicked lord and master, Dracula. Soma must penetrate the enemy's headquarters, a towering duplicate of Dracula's castle teeming with hideous creatures, to save himself and the people he cares about.
